Many have argued that IOM needs to drop the price of the drives from where they are now; the following snapshot on what people are willing to pay for refurbished parallel port drives gives some indication that at current MSRP, IOM is not priced above "the market": onsale.com

Note, too, the refurbished JAZ pricing action: the bids on both external and internal are above the $149-$189 at which Egghead has been selling them during the last 2 weeks.

True, but there has been a strong correlation between the two in the past and there is no reason to believe that this won't continue to be the case in the future. Unless of course you believe that IOM could have a blow out sales quarter and that no one would notice.
