This is from today's Entertainment News Article on M.D. MORTON DOWNEY JUNIOR TV talk show host Morton Downey Junior is recuperating at Cedars- Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following surgery to remove the remainder of his right lung. Doctors say Downey came through the operation ''with flying colors.'' He's expected to remain hospitalized for at least a week. Two lobes in Downey's cancerous right lung were removed in July 1996. ..but a spokesman for the former talk show host says there's no evidence of cancer anywhere else. Downey was a heavy cigarette smoker for more than 50 years. Since kicking the habit, he has become an anti-smoking advocate who's serving as chairman of the President's Committee on Teen-age Tobacco Abuse. Looks like encouraging news for him. Kevin
