Mikros Systems Corporation Enters into Agreement to Sell Its Government Business

PRINCETON, N.J., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikros Systems Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MKRS - news) President Stephen C. Denty
announced today that the Company has entered into an agreement to sell its government business to General Atronics Corporation of Wyndmoor, PA.
Negotiations are in the final stages with the U.S. Navy to consummate the transfer.

During the past several years Mikros has been working to apply the technologies developed under the government business to commercial applications. These
activities have emphasized high efficiency wireless digital data transmission using the commercial FM and AM radio bands.

Mr. Denty stated, ''The Company had a record year of sales in 1997 and we are anticipating a loss for the year ending December 31, 1997, as a result of the
protracted development of a competitively won Navy program and the further investment in the commercial research and development area.''

The proceeds of this transaction will provide resources to help restructure the Company and reduce certain of the company's debt.

Mikros Systems Corporation is a high technology business specializing in innovative applications of advanced digital signal processing technology and digital
wireless communications. Mikros produces digital radio communications systems equipment for both the U.S. military and commercial applications.
