GRDG...reporting this morning.. nice earnings....Garden Ridge Announces Record Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 1998 Results HOUSTON, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Garden Ridge Corporation (Nasdaq: GRDG) today reported results for the fiscal year and fourth quarter ended January 25, 1998. Net sales for the fiscal year ended January 25, 1998 increased35% to $304,732,000 compared to $225,315,000 recorded in the prior year. Sales at comparable stores increased 10% compared to the previous year. Net income increased 42% during the 1998 fiscal year to $11,433,000 compared to $8,036,000 in the prior year. Net income per share was $0.62 per share, compared to $0.45 per share in the prior year.

With all the search engine companies like YHOO, XCIT, LCOS...etc. flying high with no earnings as of yet, here's a search engine company that actually has earnings, albeit they are not solely a search engine company. Even if the stock does not appeal, their search engine is the best IMO (it does parallel search using all of the other six search engines on the web).
