H&Q on VNTV/SEBL/SCOP: "Vantive management is taking the position that Siebel has come around to Vantive's position on the importance of offering a full line of front-office applications, but that Siebel has to undergo product integration work that Vantive has already completed." The analyst points out that most of VNTV SFA sales have been for telesales in call center environments but the new VNTV SFA system (7.0) will give them a very competitive offering. Sterling Commerce has installed the system and is supposedly endorsing VNTV. Combined with the Trilogy functionality, VNTV seems to gaining momentum.
