dwight, OFF TOPIC >> " meet" The Oxford English Dictionary reveals that a slang useage of the word "meet" is , " A meeting; an assignation or appointment ". In the Oct., 1879 issue of MacMillan's magazinen, OED portrayed the words," I was at the meet { trysting-place }. That would seem to allow for the expression, " meet meet meat ".
