I wonder if THQI will now sell the rights to WCW for the remainder of their license.

Possible advantages:

1. It might be worth more to the new license holder than to THQI?
2. It would free human resources for the products which will lead to the future
3. It would lower fourth quarter earnings substantially (by moving the profit into a one time sale of the license rights in the first or second quarter). That would eliminate the future problem with quarter to quarter comparisons. Beginning in the second quarter 1999 (or possibly in the first quarter if the move is made before the end of this quarter) the quarter to quarter growth in revenues would resume.

Just a thought.
