RE: I do notice that you take a firmer stand when you have money on the table.<vbg>

YES! I've noticed that in my thinking too! Funny how that works!

---

For a stock that has done ok but not great for me it's funny how much I like the company. Financials be damned! Disappointments be damned! Lack of revenue be damned! The objectivity does tend to go when one has a long position !!!! But I do keep a clearer head than most rabid bulls on other stocks that I've seen. One has to acknowledge the good and the bad, the stumblings and bumblings and the rich prospects of a company that could do well in the transition to a digital world.

----

Further again over time as I've come to realize that irrespective of what others may say the single most important thing that drives tech stocks and especially "the we only have a few customers kind" is product cycles. LSI's new big and many product cycles make me very bullish on the company's prospects. I've got about 12% of my entire assets in the company and am adding when(if) I get the money.

---

I WAS and have been disappointed with LSI several times but the shock of the announcement in Oct. of poor earnings was the only real time that I thought I would never invest in the stock again. I'll chalk much of that to DVD since that makes a good scapegoat!

---

Must be an alcoholic type addiction. But I'm back and liking them again!

---

And finally on Toshiba and the PlayStation: Doesn't the prospect of a product upgrade no earlier than Y2000 mitigate the risk to LSI? I think it does.
