Zorro...It is my understanding that UltimateCom will be marketing to small to medium size businesses. If their services become available to residences, I will subscribe!

The article which I posted states..."UltimateCom of Atlanta, LLC today announced the introduction of its high-speed wireless Internet access services, becoming Atlanta's first provider of high-speed data communication over FCC-licensed 2GHz band."

If MMDS is generally classified as the 2.5 GHz band area, and LMDS is generally classified as the 28 GHz band area, wouldn't UltimateCom's 2 GHz announced band be considered MMDS?

I will find out which wireless modems they will be using, and if they are affiliated in any way with BellSouth.
