What I've heard is that the conference call will be open to whomever wants to dial in. Usually, these types of calls are preceded by a news release so that the CEO can expand on the news in the press release. And since the projected date seems to be floating, I'd guess that the call will come after something that is pending, but which the company can't control. In other words, its not a controllable event like releasing earnings or a "we've got a new widget" type of event. I'm reading tea leaves here, but it's been a long wait.
