0.21 would just be ridiculous.
Even at .25 this quarter, the 1.08 prediction for the year would
assume a .34 return on average for quarters 3 and 4. I think
a lot of the smaller investors are probably thinking closer to .3 for
this quarter (I know that I was hoping that the shift of the two
sales from Dec. to Jan. was going to give us a good qtr).
Coming in at .21 would mean their Feb and March sales were laughably
bad or their new Ontario plant is costing way more than expected to
set up. I think a lot of individual investors will flee if they
come in low, but the pros I believe will pick it back up pretty
quickly to at least where we are now. As for 15, well on 8% growth
(1.08 EPS for '98), that seems like a stretch.

On another question.
Last year, even before the IBD article, the stock climbed to 16 or 17. Was there just a lot more confidence in ENPT or was it just due to a general rally in the sector? (I notice PMRY followed a similar trend)...
I wonder what kind of news would have to happen
to see us back there these days.

John

Boy, if only we could get a little carryover interest from this Shopping.com run away train, old ENPT could have a pretty nice run. Maybe this is where some of the recent buying interest has come from?

Hi Roader, Looks like any buyers have stepped to the side lines and the stock is slowly sinking back towards below $10. If the company again makes a pre-earnings announcement it would likely come later this week or early next week. I am afraid the likely earnings report will disappoint many people and we are in for some very tough days. Wish I had not gotten so many people into this stock. Don't know if they will have the patience to wait for things to get better.

Hope you get a chance to talk to the company soon. I do not want to call again after talking to them two weeks ago.
