Eric:

The "wise man" who proclaimed that there is nothing new under the sun was like the head of the U. S. patent office in the 1800s who wrote Congress and the President suggesting the office be closed because everything of worth had already been invented!

If a god knows everything in advance, then the "free will" you speak of is an illusion, because all is pre-ordained.

I have studied many ancient manuscripts and the writings from Tibet, India, ancient Egypt, etc. The shining beacon that crosses the Ages is Aristotle -- none, including Jesus -- come close to his brilliance and insight into reality, the mind, the spirit of Man and ethics and morality.

The "New Age" are warmed-over mystics. Relics from the Dark Ages.

>Could salt-water or fresh water come from the same spring?<

I hazard to say that the answer is Yes. I would have dismissed this, but then - I saw my first tube of that toothpaste that comes out striped. How do they do that ?!

<<Could salt-water or fresh water come from the same spring?>>

Bad example for your argument - happens all the time, depending on the groundwater level and/or the location of the spring.
