Whether or not I'd want to be a rep in the SEB? situation depends on the comp plan. If I could get paid on orders, as opposed to revenue recognition, maybe it would be attractive.

I don't think I said entire deals would be held back from recognition - I think I said revenue - that could be some or all, depends on customer situation.

Trust is very important in selling. In a $100 - 500K deal, business user will jump in front of attorney, yes. In these multi-million dollar deals, the business person will lose his job over a big mistake. So, they won't be so quick to jump over legal counsel. Plus, they frequently get negotiated by someone not the business user - It's just not their area of expertise, and too much is at stake.

Revenue recognition rules have become much more stringent lately. It's not so easy to break up a deliverable anymore, particularly since SEBL does not perform most of their own consulting.

Hey - be my guest if you want to invest in SEBL. I think there's a lot more upside in VNTV over next 6 - 12 months.
