It costs me $30 bucks a trade to trade on Schwab. I know whose making the money. Not me. Not yet, anyway. Still hopeful though. Big Dog, can't you get a cheaper tux somewhere than Al's? For that matter, why not buy one off your oil profits?

Big Dog,

Further to your pet peeve. The news stories hardly ever talk about the impact of federal and state taxes on the retail cost of gasoline. Likewise the consumer doesn't seem to give this factor much weight when complaining about gas prices and being ready to accept the conspiracy/price fixing explanation often intimated at by the media.
Also, we don't hear much about a conspiracy responsible for the current downdraft in gasoline prices. Oh well!

Ron Clark

P.S. It would be interesting if the media would compare wholesale prices for gasoline currently and in the past. This comparison would shed further light on the situation.

His Doggedness:
Sure enjoy your posts esp on FGII my favorite stock. After being with Roger Perry and Co. at the split report you got my interest in FGII going. I think it is a great company and will eventually go to the 90's. I sold 30 mar puts for March and will either keep the premium or get the stock. I know you sold the puts for 2 and bought the 35 calls for 1. I sold the calls as my basis in the stock is 33 this time. We will make out either way on this one. Good for our Hip National Bank
(back pocket).
I thinkthis company has close to 800 million back log and will probably improve -you know much more than I do. You said once that you knew the CEO and he was a money making machine. That stuck with me. I guess my only fear is that they will announce a big buyout with stock and that will knock it down but only for awhile. What do you think about this.?
Thanks Dave
