Why don't they do their own test? It's easy to question someone else's test.

Rockwell has questioned the test...but not to my knowledge LU.

Also USR sent personnel to check the site, equipment etc. used for the test, however Rockwell didn't accept the invite and stayed home.

The only question I've seen with any merit at all, is the test was conducted from one location, but even so...it doesn't negate the results. It only begs the question if the results would be different from other locations...if so...how would they vary? I can assure you that if the test was done from my house as opposed to one down the road...the results would have been different, due to the very nature of 56K. Remember Boardwatch wasn't test the local loop...that's why they used a good clean line to the CO.

A note, I've read BoardWatch magazine for over a year now, since Derek informed us of it, and have come to respect Jack Rickard. The man gets his ducks lined up well ahead of opening his mouth, it could prove hard to disprove his statements or test results...because of that, I predict many will question the BoardWatch test...but it's unlikley we will see any credible test data to dispute it.

I should add, if the test is shown to be flawed...Rickard will admit to that immediately.

Did you send them the Boardwatch info?

Uh, not me. You know I haven't even read that Boardwatch article yet.
I know I should and will, maybe tonight. But I'm taking it with a grain of salt, I'll tell you though I will be upset if their (Boardwatch) article turns out to be a bunch of crap. I've followed Boardwatch for years and they have always been reliable, I hope they don't lower their standards.
