Edward, techs up today. I note NN and ORCL both up nicely, both previously battered. they are cheap. People will buy perceived values.
Both are leaders in their own fields. News that NN was dethroned from 40% leadership of international ATM market were a little premature I suppose. Nice article in WSJ today on big rises recently on Internet
stocks ( Yahoo, Infoseek etc ) on the theory that computer woes/price slashes will broaden markets and be bullish for these stocks. Same theory would apply to networking stocks.
Also I wonder if next week's show in Germany with Siemens-NN-3COM on a backdrop of new highs in European stock markets has anything to do with continues rise in NN stock. I tend to agree with Bald Man that this dude may go higher. i am trying hard not to sell from profits at 22; I sold it many times in the past prematurely. I think some of the market makers may be swinging the stock to shake off weak holders/momentum buyers at 17-22,

TA

Ed , you are wise to be cautious with options
You can lose a lot of money with them as I have found out in the last 9 months .
However if Newbridge follows the same pattern as 1996 it could quickly run up to $40+ , Brian
