17 MILES??? You musta had onea them Rock-n-Roll days! Jeesh, I was up in Sacto at the time and it shook us pretty good. Damaged the capitol building, shook all the stuff off the shelves at the grocery's, etc. That was a scary one. I had rushed home to watch the worlds series, sat down in front of the tube and the next thing I knew it was MORNING! I sat up all night watching all the action. That guy that got squashed in the pancake section of the freeway was particularly disturbing. Still creeps me out to think about it. BRRRRRR.
