Sam, thanks for your message.

I posted about the convergence of emas, not divergence. The concept is similar to the constriction of Bollinger bands. Technically when emas converge and/or Bollinger bands constrict, this indicates the subject stocks may make a significant move. At this key juncture one should be attune to market sentiment, sector strength, and company-specific news or events ... this will be the determinant of the direction of the move. These comments are based on heuristic experience after investing/trading in many stocks.
