The gains are certainly muted. Interesting that CPQ is showing about
twice the percentage gain on up days as DELL. Maybe since CPQ has
eaten the quarters earnings and taken the downside hit; there is
little further downside pressure.

Possibly CPQ is rising in anticipation of the Conference call tomorrow reassuring the analysts that the worst is over.

BTW I heard an add on the radio this AM by CPQ for a hot system
with 300 MHZ class processor, 32x CD-ROM, 64, MEG RAM,
17 in monitor for $1299.
