PLAT and Tivoli aren't really that competitive at all... PLAT produces systems management tools that will plug into the Tivoli Management Environment/Framework (TME, or TMF). And to Mark A., I only know of one BIG consulting firm in Chicago and it is Andersen Consulting. With their huge fight going on with their own accounting partners, and the fact that they are private and supposed to be "product neutral" in their consulting engagements, I just don't see what you were alluding to ever happening. For IBM, the PLAT tools and the Tivoli Framework might be a great combination, however... Closed just slightly down today, but not too bad. It seems we can't hold above 27 right now, however.
