Big CyberMedia news:

CyberMedia Inc., developer of the First Aid and UnInstaller products, announced this afternoon it will restate results for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1997 and seek a replacement for Unni Warrier, who has resigned as president and CEO.

The Santa Monica, Calif., company also said it expects to report
revenues between $5 million and $8 million for the quarter ending March 31, compared with $16.5 million for the comparable period in 1997.

CyberMedia officials said they expect results from the December
quarter to show an increase in return reserves of $6 million to $8 million.

"We are working with our major distributors to adjust channel inventory levels as they deem appropriate,'' said Kanwal Rekhi, CyberMedia's chairman of the board in a statement.

The board today announced the appointment of Rekhi as acting
president. The search for a permanent CEO is expected to take "a
matter of weeks," officials said.

Warrier's resignation is effective immediately.

J.L.

This was borrowed from bob, from over on the LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE thread. Strike the words "the world" and add "this stock". Sums up my feelings to the "T"

"Hey Norm, how's the world been treating you?"
"Like a baby treats a diaper."
