"Fill the gap" is a technical term used to describe stock action. Often you will see a stock jump or fall from one level to another, leaving what looks like a void in the chart. The philosophy is that the markets abhor a vacuum, and will usually fill in the gap area sometime in the future. If you look at the chart, ISLI gapped up from 14 to 16 in November on good earnings, and started to go parabolic in late December. I had a hard time getting behind the run since that gap was left behind. Now that the gap has been filled, a more sustainable run is possible, unless the market falls apart. Regards
