FRank. I would NOT buy more here. Think the stock is dead money for at least a while longer and will still go lower. Short of a takeover, which I don't see, the only thing that will change the scenario is a change in the fiber market, which i don't see short term either. It might be very difficult to sell your position. YOu might consider selling half or part and invest the money in a stock and sector that has more positive outlook. I sold my SPTR at 20 and am in no hurry to get back in. there will be a time, but don't know when yet. good luck. Larry

Stock is at a two year low.

Since you have waited this long, I don't think you should sell here. My guess is we are within a point of the bottom.

I expect (am hoping) for a few months of basing between 7 and 9. If we get that, I will buy on any increase in RS. (I am currently out but watching - 8 has been my number you know).

Lots of techs have been in a hidden bear market for the last 18 months. SPTR is one of them. True SPTR is probably dead money for a little while longer. But if you sell at 8, will you have the luck to get back in at 7 or the guts to jump in at 9 or 10? I would hang in there. At 9000 the clock will reset and techs will fuel the fire on the next leg up. Besides, You seem to know and love the technology. We all will need you here when it happens. Just MHO. We will see.

Good Luck.
