Hungry Jack

PS. Stoo baby, I caught the narrow spread at 12:40PM EST this aft when px was 3 5/8 x 3/4. Is this what you showed then too? Just curious. I've been able to rely on my quotes all along, but yes I did have someone else check late this aft. Sorry for any confusion all. This is the first time I've had problems.

Jerard, please tell them I'm legit. :-)

Mr. Oop, Am I correct to assume that each broker could get different real time quotes because they call different MM's? I had assumed that a composit quote would apply to any buy or sell orders. But from what you posted it sound like a MM might have put in a price of $4 to $4.5 at 10 am and at 11 am the real over-the-counter price is more like $4.25 to $4.75 and only if your broker called that particular MM would they get a current quote of $4.25 to $4.75, otherwise your broker would come back with $4 to $4.50. And based on that you could put a buy in at $4.50 and never get filled.

That is frustrating but if what I just said is true, a hard working broker is key to getting the most accurate current price. They have to call all the MM's and find out what is really happening over-the-counter.

Thanks for that update.
