That would be one way...the other would be to recognize the fast solution is going to cost them some bucks. They need to create an incentive to either the end user or the retailer on a "limited time basis" to clear the channels. In this industry if they wait for it to clear of its own accord they'll find themselves looking up a dusty trail. One other option would be to include something the end user perceives as giving them added value over other "boxes" (software, warranty extensions, gadgets, free oil change <wink>, etc, etc.)

In addition to a (maybe more depending how much had been stuffed in the inventory) free computer, I want to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate who did the stuffing and denied it.
