HI Sonny, An auction is exiting only if you score. Of course it is sort of fun watching the heavy hitters from N.Y. bid 60.000 0n american furn. All the biggies were there as the merchandise was first class. O.T. You have an epergne I imagine. All the other stocks I have like tel stocks just keep going up. When the penny dropped on Lucent and I realized that it was a winner, it had already gone up a lot. I still have a lot of faithin the tech stocks I just dont have the money to buy right now. I want to go on vacation and buy other things. I have some losers in fidelity ira and will move them into Vanguard. I resent paying them to lose money gg I am checking the threads .I think you have to hold on even tho there is so much action and reaction. M.L.downgraded BKB in Jan I sold it at 94. Its now 105 They dont know it all and I just go by what I think will do well No way am I going to sell any tech stocks. I rebalanced my portfolio and will wait until they go up. Not stubborn only patient.

Good afternoon Sonny, (mostly off topic) I was happy to see our Intel up today and I am still very happy about the price that I got for the Intel that I had to sell to pay for the conversion (over $77 1/8), especially since I had to sell under pressure and panic. I am also just relieved that it is done. Today I went to my nutrition program class and I thought of you because we had a Microbiologist talk to us. He was very on top of things and very interesting. We also had done a culture plate with different things on it, like dirty hands, washed hands, hair etc. It was interesting seeing the different colonies for the different things. I had very little bacteria on the one that I did of a strand of hair, which I was very surprised about. Maybe I didn't do it exactly right, or maybe I just have very clean hair. Sonny, Thanks for the info about MRK. I think I need to wait for a bit, my cash is a little low right now and I won't do a margin account. I need that one stock to do a little better so I can sell it. I was so tempted to sell ORCL yesterday when I saw it at 28, since I just bought it at 23. I thought no, I'll wait heck I may never sell that one I'd probably regret it. Good morning Sonny and Ann, (Some off topic good news.) Yestderday when I got home I realized that both of my daughters had called me on my caller ID. I thought that they just called to chat and called them back last night. Well they both called with very good news. Gretchen's mother, Debbi wanted to tell me that around the middle of April they are moving back to Jacksonville and that she will be coming in next week-end to look at houses. Her hubby got a promotion as well as a transfer, (He will be a regional operations manager for his company.) My other daughter Heather got a job with an airline company, starting the end of this month and after her training, as her mother, I will have free airline tickets anytime to anywhere that her company flies. (I think that I have to go stand-by, but what the heck.) I think that I am going to be doing a lot of traveling pretty soon. So I will have to start checking out the libraries for their internet services or get a lap top. It is a beautiful sunny day here. I hope all is well with you guys. Don't forget to have fun.
