Hi,
I am still here on line. I still check the thread everyday. I have not had much to say that has not already been said. Now I am just watching it happen. I still have my shares and holding for the future. I think any large moves will not happen until later in the year. Give the commercial accounts time to hit the bottom line. That will get the earnings growth back on track and by then we may start to see other products/services such as international expansion or PCS phones. The bank will be on line in April. It seems to me that things are starting to come together. If Kenny is buying stock back that will add fuel and the short stock that will have to cover at some point will also. Things look great from here. Noticed some very large blocks traded during the past week. 200K at a time tells me that someone with money is buying. Another today at around 2PM 125K shares pushed the stock up a dollar. Look for some resistance at around 28 but I think it will be 36 by Oct.

(What has happened to everybody? I feel like I am a desert, found water and all my pals had died! ECI is up 8 points in a very short time and no one has any comments?)

Oh man, I've seen this thread so dead in my life but there is big activity going on at Yahoo! about ECI. I think you should check it out.

Hi Miami - I'm still around but don't have much to add.

I think ECI is on a slower, steadier movement up that follows management's plan to "walk softly but carry a big stick". I've been told that Excel will not make as bold of projections as they have in the past about new products, traffic migration, etc. The reason is to not present too rosy of a scenario that can be upset by adverse government (in)action or market conditions or delays in execution. Over the long haul that philosophy will be much better for investors because it will give investors and analysts greater confidence.

I would not expect ECI to move up too much more until earnings are released and more is said about earnings and how the commercial and general sales programs are going.

Off topic - Here are a few of my current picks: Long on INFS, EQNX, NOIZ, ENPT; Short on NINE.

Miami,

Hey, I'm here, don't I count!

Bought back the march 20 Puts I sold several weeks ago to free up the margin ability, and made some nice quick money there. still have the March 30's and plan on rolling those to the June 30s in a day or so. that has made 2k so far also.

May the rally continue.

Hey, I'll be in Florida in early May for a cruise to the Bahama's, wanna go? We can talk business and write it off!

good luck,

Lee

Didn't know you were Navy, should I type slower and use smaller words?
