Henry and thread, here are today's stats:

^SPX......1068.47....+4.22...+0.40%
^IXIC.......756.85.....+8.34...+0.48%
^BTK......170.39......+1.80...+1.07%
^IXB........23.45.......+1.13...+0.35%
LGND.....16 1/16....+1/8....+0.78%

The Amex bt index beat the S&P and NASDQ composite, but the NASDQ bt index fell a little short. LGND beat the broad market and the NASDQ bt index.

At the close today LGNDW had doubled from it's low of $5.

On of our contra-Ligand regulars was recently praised for calling the short/medium moves. Seems to miss the up side pretty consistently. Some trader! Anyone can sit permanently on a down prediction and be right sooner or later.

Strike one.

He also wasted a considerable amount of time trying to convince Bernie that the warrants were a lousy investment.

Strike two.

Wasted a lot of space here over the months without any indication that he knows anything about the company.

Strike three.

How many strikes before you have to go back to Amlyn?
