Herbert, Re: Is LGND a trade or a hold? We cannot be certain of anything in the market. But, we have 2 significant tells in LGND. First, was the eruption off the bottom on huge { for LGND } volume. Second, the 2 unfilled gaps. These things hint that this time may be different. In the absence of a devastatingly negative general stock market, we might minimally expect attempts to breech both prior tops , 18 3/8 and 19 3/4. The crossing of 19 3/4 should generate a bandwagon effect. The relentlessness of the drive higher must be putting as much pressure on the shorts and the dip-waiters as the decline to 10 7/8 put on the rest of us. Nothing is easy. They will attempt to frighten us out along the way. But, it shouldn't take a genius to understand that we are arising from a multi-year base. Frequently, stocks that come out of such a base have a bright future for a substantial period of time. LGND has fiddled with $11 every year since '93. We have paid our dues. We are ready. We are confident. Get out d'way!
