TT: off topic: ---->got me out of hibernation for a bit:) ROFL ---that means I did some good. glad to have you out in the open........ My doctor, who lives next door to us, has purchased a couple of lots outside of town and is having plans drawn for a new hacienda. When the current one goes on the market, it will probably bring $350k. It's about 6000 sq ft and he built it a year in front of me building mine, so that means it's nearly 20 yrs old---he lived across the street from me (two blocks west) in both our old houses for 10 yrs before that, so we're fairly well acquainted.....ggg He will, more than likely, spend $75 per foot on the new one. Two years ago, before my wife had heart surgery, I drew up some plans for a smaller one for us ( 3500 ft) and did enough homework to determine that I could construct it for $50 per foot. I did build one outside the city seven or eight years ago and couldn't get Red to move.....so I sold it for $100k--it was 3500 ft and I sold it at cost. I subbed out all the work, I was the main, as well as designed it. ----> I am not sure how my rather liberal political views will be viewed there:) Besides, are there any good Thai restaurants -- I have to have a Thai food "fix" at least once a week:) No to the Thai locally.....three China (one Schezuan) tho, and leventy seven BBQ...... However, Dallas is only hour and half away and there will be leveny eight Thai there......ggggg The liberal outlook could keep you in hot water enough that you might not even miss the Thai-------GGGGGGG It's just a sleepy little NE Texas town, pretty, inexpensive living, and filled with some of the finest people one could ask for. Feel free to visit and take a look. Heck, we could go play dominos, or no telling what, all kinda other things...... Regards---Nemer
