I am sorry if I misled you. I don't have any idea as to the similarity between Carlin type deposits and the FL deposit. Off hand I would not think that there could be much similarity since Carlin deposits are associated with igneous instrusives and FL is sedimentary.

On one hand sedimentary deposits such as salt, potash, coal, trona are very consistent over large areas, sedimentary precious metal deposits (placer) are very spoty and not consistent.

I am afraid that these questions won't be answered about Franklin Lake until it is actually mined.
