Art,
This is a guess, but I believe the cluster of 4 buttons on the remote
being distributed by GI with their digital terminal will operate the ACTV
channel and that a specialized remote for ACTV will not be necessary.
This 4 button cluster seems to be becoming an industry standard for
remotes to assist with navigation of various sorts, since I believe I saw
it on the remote that operates WebTV when I was at Circuit City recently.
Here is a picture of the GI remote:

Art,

As of now, a customer is unable to subscribe to the service. That will not become available until TCI offers it.

As for the remotes: The ones shipping with the new digital boxes are full functional for actv. If you look at a typical remote, there are 4 arrows surrounding (usually) a circular button. Those 4 arrows will control the actv feed.

all the best and lets get some talk going elsewhere on this stock.

i would suggest the yahoo boards and anyplace else you can think of.
