INDEX UPDATE
--------------------------

Whenever another index hits a new high its one more confirmation that the market should move higher. Now, the RUT hitting an all-time does indicate that the market is broadening out and when the market gets saturated, all sectors, then the market needs to correct some. So I feel that, and based on other factors that we will be going through a topping out process in the near future. What I mean by that is that the down/flat cycles will become longer, the mini dips may get a bit larger, and any movement up will not have huge strength behind them.

I am still not seeing a stronger dip of 200-400 prior to MAR expiration, but weakness should start soon. Just noticed that the futures are down a little, so we may have some weakness today and if we follow the normal patter tomorrow should be up, but not with alot of strength. Then the beginning of next week should be continued weakness, thru till expiration, at least flat for the week if now down
some. Some feel next week will be down alot, thats fine with me, but the technical signals are indicating just down some for the week overall, but there should be some strong oscillations, which could cause a bit of whipsawing.

Even though the NAZ was up yesterday, I noticed some weaknesses, since it closed substantially off of its highs.

Subjectively, CNBC was broadcasting that guy from Prudential (Acenpora - however you spell his name) touting DOW 10,000 and Maria saying all day long that money was coming from overseas into our market(but that could now be old news). Is this the rosiest picture the media has given over the last few weeks, it so then we are topping out.gggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

Back to the technicals, we should see weakness/flatness for the the next 2 weeks with occassional spurts up, and starting the last week in MAR (MAR 30-31), we should start our month end rally which will take us into the first week of April. Then the actual earnings will give us the direction.

Rather than day trade, I will be playing a CREDIT SPREAD till expiration, with hopes of initiating the position by Friday/Monday.

Seeya.
