Laz,

You are absolutely right. No one seems to be responding to the fact that IKAR has hit the motherload here. People can't believe the size of this deposit, so the stock is way undervalued. And don't look for the stock to suddenly catch fire anytime soon. It just does not seem to react like we would expect it to.

Two things to remember, however, when you begin to doubt the stock.

1. After IKAR first got wind of the Soviet report, they sent there own geologist to Tajikistan to find out if it was really possible that the Soviets were correct. As soon as their own geologist got back, IKAR immediately bought out it's joint venture partner!

2. Company insiders were buying this stock even after it went to $3 a share.

I was told to expect 3 deposit reports, that together would try and give some real dollar values to what was out there. So far we have gotten two and we are up over $6 billion dollars. As I said before,
I believe this is a 10 billion dollar deposit. Just remember it will take time and money to get it all out of the ground. The projections are that this will be a 100 year mining operation.

THanks.. Matt

I think that everyone is leaving out one really big issue that IKAR has going against it, and one that is never mentioned in any of the press releases.

Tajikistan is about the size of Wisconsin but in that region of the old USSR you have a CIVIL WAR going on between rival factions, not to mention the drug wars, very tough weather, local government which is not always on your side, and tough traveling into and out of the area, etc...this is before we even get to the actual mining issues.

I'm not saying IKAR might not take off, but before we start taking the face value of press release estimates (ie. billions of $$$'s) too much to heart let's look at the big picture. This is one of the toughest places on the planet to conduct an extensive mining effort and with that in mind it doesn't matter if the PR states that $2.2B or $5B or whatever is in the ground....it's can we make a profit - only time will tell.

Here'a a link to info on Tajikistan...
