Jim. From what I read into it ALERT is not really a competitive product but really just a system that Law Enforcement is developing to improve officer efficiency and government road knowledge through traffic and accident studies (note the mention of digital video...this would mean digital cameras at road accidents recording and transmitting data direct to base OR the coming ambulance OR the hospital so they can prep for patients or advise officers/paramedics on the scene). PC Mobile is a perfect fit for this of course. ALERT is just another example of how mobile computing is becoming a must for ALL emergency vehicles and how BIG the market is/will be for PC Mobile over the next few years. Rob PS Darleen.
