Porter: I too am new to options and have some of the same questions as Sam. I'm mostly interested in covered writing right now.

Example: GEAC July 62.5 Call, OI 33.

The OI is small, so I'm trying to get a feel for what would happen if I tried to sell, say 30 calls, at the bid. I know the bid can move quickly, but assuming it stayed the same, is it likely that all 30 would sell? What "typically" happens?

Thanks, Bob
