John, yes I too feel that the glut is on the business side. I was in Edison, NJ last weekend and I went shopping for a PC for my sister-in-law. I was looking for the $999 Presario 4540 (great value both in terms of software and hardware for the first timers). CompUSA was out of them, Staples was out of them, Office Depot was out of them only Circuit City had them as they had received a shipment of 40 PCs 10 days ago of which only 18 were remaining. The CC guy said that it was the hottest PC to sell.
This glut will take 4-5 months to clear up till then CPQ is a dead stock. Investors should not care too much but traders have already flown.
