Curly,
Okay there are facts that are on Cymer's side and the side of us shareholders. As I've indicated I agree that DUV is critical to chipmakers and they will buy Cymer equipped steppers probably before any other types of equipment. Cymer will make money even in a sector downturn. This I agree with. But the stock of solid companies that are making money such as Cymer often go down with the trend of their respective sectors. Only time will time whether Cymer's stock can thrive while the rest of the sector trends downward. I'm strongly tempted to hold my shares even through a downtrend. Anyway you've won the argument as to whether Cymer's lasers are the key enabling technology to DUV and whether the industry will continue to rapidly adopt DUV. Cymer will most certainly profit from this rapid adoption. But will us shareholders be justly rewarded while the rest of the sector is dumped by The Street? Can Cymer's stock rally during a sector downturn? Yes Cymer deserves to go up. But stocks don't often get what they deserve in my experience. There is often little justice or rationality to market forces and stock prices.

Regards,
AZ
