Does anyone know the % institution penetration of shares outstanding?
If Egghead.com goes around and does a great job of selling their future vision to the fund managers and Wall Street analysts this week and next week on their road show, the stock price could very well bump up on accumulation by these new hands.

I love how the people who are negative about Egghead are still talking when EGGS has went up 100% against them so far. If I was a short, OUCH!

Folks, Egghead.com is an internet story stock like Amazon.com, Yahoo, Onsale, Doubleclick, etc. Face reality, traditional discounted cash flow valuations, p/e multiple, etc do not apply to web stocks today. Right now for internet stocks its future growth potential and revenue multiples. It's ALL about potential for the future, and market share.

And does Egghead.com have a chance to take substantial marketshare for the computer software/hardware market in the next few years? And the answer to that is Yes. If this happens will the stock go up? Yes, of course.

Tae

So you think people who invest in internet stocks are gambling. What, then, are you doing here- trying to save us?!
I have a "better" example of gambling. How about someone who shorts a hot stock, then gets anxious as it goes up, and tries to convince others to sell it.
