Islander,

Usually EOM stands for End Of Message, but you never know!

Regards,

Ken

EOM means End Of Message. sometimes used as a snub, or I am cool, or I don't want to talk to you anymore, or don't bother or no need to post back. I myself think it is rude at times. EOM <gggg>

<EOM> means just what everyone has said, "End Of Message". It is commonly used in email so the recipient knows that the subject line is the entire message, and them mail doesn't have to opened. It is useful in this and other forums if you are browsing the message list for a subject. If you se <EOM>, you know you don't have to click on the link to read any more because there isn't any more.
