Eddie Kim. RE: "hpeace was invaluable source of inside news concerning Compaq that you just couldn't find anywhere else."

I could not agree more. He was very helpful in giving you the genuine flavor of how CPQ management thought. He will be missed.

Eddie Kim... RE:" but at least he
helpingly provided info that was useful and inciteful.

Did you mean "incite-ful" or "insightful"

In any case....now we have more "incite-ful",... we used to
have more "insightful".

Maybe that the stock is down plays a part in this.

>> It really has been a loss that hpeace can no longer post

The man is not dead, Eddie. He is alive and kicking, I assure you. You sound as if you are delivering his eulogy. You can always go chit-chat with him on the Ask Steve forum. He seems perfectly willing to post there, if you forgot already.

Eddie, you are correct about hpeace. He was very helpful with information for the thread, and he was very knowledgeable about the action within cpq. I respect him too. Also, if I remember correctly, he told us shortly after the 4q97 "blow out" earnings, that he expected that 1q98 could be a slim quarter. He will be missed.
