If it's 45 days for quarterly reports, then why has ALYD still not come out with their official 4Q97 statement. They made a preliminary 4Q97 release in mid February, but that was not official. Or is a preliminary release sufficient for 45 days after the quarter?

I notice that the options for May at 20 and Aug at 20 are very active today. I think people are expecting a 1Q release by May 15 that will determine the direction for Alyd. My question: Can Alyd request a delay in reporting 1Q earnings or do they have to report something, if only preliminary? A delayed report may upset lots of options holders.
