All: Help.. From the sentiment that I gather here, B&C seems to be a pretty good firm to sign up with. Almost ready to make the plunge.. Are all the phone numbers toll free just in case 1 location is busy, you can dial another ? Ok, now for my D.A.Q (Dumm Ass-k Question). Lets say you have $20k and a margin account. You purchase a $40 dollar stock on margin (1000 shares), then sell it later on. Does Brown & Co. let you buy another stock BEFORE the 3 day settlement of the above transaction ? I hear that some brokers put you on probation and other don't. What is the scoop, or am I just not seeing the light.. Thanks, Joe
