larry, the street is betting that those estimates are wrong. they are. however, they are way too high and the herd of dolts thinks they are too low.

however, this dram based hard drive is intriguing and may be important. it may not. maybe it will have zero impact like the microstamp did. but, since i'm objective, it is worth pondering...

Larry & traders, a couple of days ago, I mentioned a possible upward
channel with MU.for the past 12 days. It still exists, but the
downward channel for the past month is more probably, and
for today, I see the high part of that channel at 35 3/8, and
the low end at 30 1/8.
I see resistance at 35 7/8 and support at 33 1/4, and major support
at 33.
I sold my longs yesterday, and went short, looking for downward
movement today, based on my computer.
What do you and other traders see for today?
Patrick

Larry, just checked the CBOE for option open interest on MU and
found the following
Strike Calls Puts
25 79 1649
27.5 192 1236
30 3441 7354
32.5 1215 6171
35 11783 9185
37.5 5810 346
40 4130 391
42.5 1426 30
Total 28076 26372
There is a total of 54,448 options, but if MU traded at exactly
35 on Friday week, 23,149 calls and 25,605 puts would be
worthless! Only 4927 calls and 767 puts would be in the money.
But, the earnings report may change all of this.
Option trading neophytes, take note, that only one in ten would
have value, not necessarily profit, but any value left.
