Another highlight from their wonderful business plan: You guessed it one more credit card! [reminds me of Yahoo!] and some more stuff that no doubt will make you cover.

The Company plans to sell work-out and related apparel and market certain financial services and direct marketing programs provided by third parties to its members such as a co-branded credit card, credit life insurance, dining clubs and ATMs in its clubs through in-club sales efforts and direct marketing programs.

I guess the last thing in Mr. Hillman's mind is to try to improve the margins of the Gym business! He knows this is an impossible task! So he wants out and instead try some other "me too" stuff that at best will provide marginal revenue among his mainly low income younger clientele. Yes they will all buy their gym gear at BFIT! Particularly the members that were screwed up with a three year membership and don't go anymore. I guess he is trying a Robin Hood in reverse rob from the poor to give to the rich!

Look for massive negative cash flows throughout the year despite all the cosmetic changes implemented for revenue recognition.

>Do they have licensed physical therapists on staff? I doubt it. <

The location I visited didn't even seem to have a qualified trainer which is supposedly part of their revenue enhancement plan.

>I don't get it. What are they going to do, stick a stroke patient in a room with a Nautilis machine and say go to it buddy, rehab yourself? <

You guessed right! the most ambitious and potentially profitable part of the plan is to try to get medicare coverage to have stroke patients pump up some iron! The ones that don't make it or get injured go to rehab and then they stick it to uncle Sam COL style!
