I agree, and think that's the reason for AOL's strength today:
rumors on MCIC/WCOM and ??? taking over all the telephones
and internet. Gee, I wonder what the DOJ and FTC would say
about that one. Duh. Not a chance! But the conjecture might
move the stock.

Decided to cover my short on AOL at the open, at the market,
and if it opens unchanged I'll get out even. Otherwise, ...,
well, maybe i can make up for the loss with my YOOHOO? short.

That's old news. Case on WCOM board was part of September announcement
of WCOM deal.

Likely that as with Excite Case will have to be "excused" from
board discussions involving matters either competitive with AOL,
or that knowledge of which would give AOL unfair advantage.
Pretty standard.
