dp...Changing to BTO model...or .....changing to effective BTO model. Any systems change requires the trust and acceptance of employees who must buy into the new system. Given that... system structural changes are made internally effecting the supplier side as well as the distribution side. One is reducing and "eliminating" (not totally) "finished goods inventory". The tolerance for error becomes more an issue and information systems are key. I am not familiar with CPQ directly so this answer is generic. Loki
