Let's see if I get this straight.

I really haven't studied Altera in detail, but just a quick glance at at few 10-Qs and their current financials tells me that this is a very nice growth stock (despite the fact that Semis are in the doldrums right now).

Last Year the company grossed about $650 mil. and netted about $150 mil. They even paid out over $10 million in profit sharing bonuses to their 900 employees. Their ROE is outstanding and the balance sheet is impeccable with over $400 million in cash.

You can currently buy Altera for about half a billion less than Yahoo.
Yet Cramer thinks Altera is a dog and also thinks that "you'd have to be stupid not to own Yahoo".

That does it. Stop the Earth, I want to get off.
