Dear Jane,
That is why I did not want to post here. I knew it would bring the wolves around and bring this grief on Gregor and others. If you read Ask God I think it is clear that there is some demonic activity present on these threads and only love and respect for one another can overcome it.
Jesus said He did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. He fulfilled the meaning of the Ark and Gods Holiness to me. We are told in Corinthians that we should not partake of His communion in an unworthy manner, and that is why many have fallen asleep. What was the penalty of the High Priest if he made the sacrifice in an unworthy manner. I can see that it is the same God Jesus. He is eternal and even though He was seperate from the Father while here He stressed the 2 are one. He also, says He only does what He sees His Father doing. I don't see a harsh angry God in the OT, but the same loving Merciful, kind God with integrity. Another example of a consistent God is Ananias and Saphira, wow struck dead for lying?
I am not trying to make Him look harsh but just want to point out that He is the same and when I read the OT I see His loving kindness and faithfulness more than the disciplinarian that He was and is. You have said exactly what I feel that there is a disrespect for the Word of God for the sake of proving Grace and the superiority of the New Covenant. If I had said that the Law is our guide and we all need to keep Kosher and obey the laws of the Rabbis then I could see why they are telling me the need to seperate the law from Christ, but I have not done that and I have only shared my thoughts on how Yeshua fulfilled the representation of the Ark. Remember God will not be mocked everyone will reap what they sow. Love in the Lord Yeshua, (I think it is best to use His name as much as possible until the attacks are gone) Someone should ask directly what lord put the post on ask God last night and try to make them give a name. Nancy
