OK I got it.. The Addonics drive is an external drive with a PCMCIA adapter. The CNF and VST are "internal" fitting in the removable disk drive/cd bay...

How could we have all have missed this release on Addonnics home page???

There may be a revenue sharing agreement between Addionics and Iomega, but is it possible that Iomega simply sells slim drives to Addonics, just as it might sell internals to any boxmaker?
